I usually find most greek taverns abroad to be a bit lacking, but this one is a refreshing exception. Friendly staff just as you would expect at a greek restaurant, but not gimmicky. We tried several dishes, and they were all excellent. Great atmosphere and wonderful greek cuisine! Keep it up!

So, last day in Sonthofen. What do you do when you're hungry for something tasty that is quickly available ... order nearby. GYROS with metaxa sauce, salad, fries, and a delicious beer. Ordered, picked up and eaten everything .. it was so tasty ... if I am here again, then definitely Yamas😊 tavern

Due to many recommendations on the Internet, we visited the tavern. The location is right on the street. Parking is a bit difficult.The decor and ambience simply wonderfully simple, loving and very authentic. You feel very comfortable right away. We were greeted very nicely. The service incredibly friendly and fast. The drinks as well as the appetizer came quickly just like the entree. The food - MEGA - great tasting, delicious, fresh and just as you would imagine the Greek. The hot peppers delicious and also the fried zucchini a dream. The main course, my gyros, fresh, super seasoned and delicious. The skewer totally juicy and the meatball super delicious, fresh and perfect. Also the fish plate was super good, the vegetables fresh and crisp.A restaurant that you can really recommend. We were already in Germany with some Greeks. This is definitely one of the Top5. Great Greek authentic food with super nice service !!

Very nice atmosphere, staff very accommodating and nice. Very tasty and the prices are ok too. We also like to pick up the food. The portions are big and the prices are good too. Only when parking you can sometimes get problems, but that's normal for Sonthofen.

Very good food in a cozy atmosphere. We had different mixed gyros and finally desserts. Everything tasted very good 😋! We will definitely be back!

Always delicious.Unfortunately every time too few staff, when the restaurant is full, it gets chaotic and the friendliness decreases ...Furthermore, apparently only the boss himself can cash down, which has the consequence that the payment can sometimes take longer.It should be set at peak times yet another person evntl. can also take some cash, then it runs a bit rounder ...Food is still delicious.There are no parking spaces, you have to walk a few meters.

Really good! The gyros is awesome.the quality of the chips is unfortunately lower than that of the dishes. Ambience, service, and above all the Greek dishes are SUPER! Highly recommended the pepperoni grilled as a starter.

No matter if cold starter platter, gyros or chicken breast, everything tasted great. The salad is particularly noteworthy because it is brilliantly dressed. Price and performance are really fair here.Only there is an n star deduction because of the lack of attention from the host. At the beginning the restaurant was still full and busy. Unfortunately, even when we were at the last table, we were sitting in front of empty glasses for a long time and we were only helped when asked.It will work better next time, because we will come back anyway, because all employees were personable. Only you had to stop and help them from time to time.

We had a mixed hot appetizer plate, a fish platter and gyros pita. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The waiters were very friendly. The decor also super 👍 all around simply recommendable. You should reserve though :)

Nice food and friendly waitresses. Pleasant atmosphere, although the place is a bit narrow. A visit is recommended.

Just great! There were four of us at the Yamas tavern and we were all very enthusiastic. All dishes were delicious, good portions and friendly service. The prices are normal - in relation to the quality they are rather cheap.There is also a small terrace / beer garden, but along the street.We would recommend making a reservation in advance, since during our visit in the evening there were already a few people waiting to get a table.

Nothing special. Our orders took 70% of the time longer than the other guests, even though they were the same dishes or the people came after us. The waitress should have asked, how we want to pay, instead of ugly grimaces afterwards. It remained more of a negative than positive impression afterwards. Food was ok

Food was excellent, the service all the worse for it, restaurant was not full, but waited for drinks forever, waited half an hour with an empty glass, and the empty plates were on the table for 25 minutes, Ouzo lukewarm, was better in the past, we are not coming anymore.

Very good cuisine. The food was absolutely convincing. Price performance is also very good.The ambience invites you to spend cozy hours there. Simply a successful atmosphere, we will definitely be back.
